I really think the menu bar crash is caused by high settings where fsx is running short of memory by the constant hitting on the menu bar. I personally cannot replicate this crash and have tried several times to crash my FSX by repeatedly clicking on the fsx menu bar. The uiautomationcore.dll only fixes one problem and that's a crash if you repeatedly hit the FSX menu bar. Since you did get a crash, the Vista version obviously did not stop it. Uiautomationcore.dll - I would also remove the uiautomationcore.dll from your main FSX directory. You can then go to the main FSX folder and right click it and then click on Take Ownership. You can download and run a program called Take Ownership. Some people have also found that it is a sharing problem. Most people have fixed this problem by lowering their FSX/display driver settings or lowering the OC. So, IMHO, I think it's related to memory, virtual memory settings, and/or memory settings in the BIOS. If a program tries running (also known as executing) code from memory in an incorrect way, DEP closes the program. DEP can help protect your computer by monitoring programs to make sure they use system memory safely. DEP is a security feature that can help prevent damage to your computer from viruses and other security threats. They say that the fix is to enable DEP (Data Execution Prevention) in FSX (which cannot be done without causing even more problems). You had a StackHash crash which is quite common with FSX. ![]() ![]() The latest versions of 20 are respectively at the following links. The PMDG747 should be using the latest version of MS Visual 2005 and maybe 2008. It was included with the latest update to the PMDG737. I do not see where Microsoft Visual 20 loaded but, for the PMDG737, you need the 2010 version. They should be the same version as loaded module 5). Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 is not completely up-to-date (loaded modules 4 and 57 are outdated. ![]()
